The State Committeewoman and State Committeeman are the highest-ranking GOP officials in the county

The Republican Party of Florida is made up of a State Committeewoman, State Committeeman and Chair from each county. The Committeewoman and Committeeman are the liaisons between the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) and the Duval REC, bringing information back and forth.  The office of the State Committeewoman and Committeeman is an inner-party countywide election for a 4-year term.  There is no pay or compensation with the position. The duties require travel throughout the state to attend quarterly meetings where the state leadership gathers to strategize.  The State Committeewoman and Committeeman are the highest-ranking Republican party officials in the county.  They serve as advisors and voting members on the county Republican Board and Republican Executive Committee.
